Each Resident creates a Profile Poster at the start of the residency year. These profiles help students see their teachers-in-training as real and multi-dimensional people.

Our program involves a five-year commitment: the initial residency year of teacher preparation, followed by a four-year, post-graduation commitment to teach in an underperforming CPS school.

The residency year is the basis for the strength, resiliency, and strategic flexibility our graduates need to begin careers as powerful educators with high achievement among their students.
