
The Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL) seeks talented men and women with a passion to transform the lives of children in Chicago’s high-poverty public schools. AUSL’s Chicago Teacher Residency program combines teacher preparation, certification, and a Master's degree in an intensive 12-month, full-time, training paid program.
Master of Arts in Teaching (Non-Certified Candidates)
Requirements for Admission:
Bachelor’s degree with GPA of 2.5/4.0 or better in latest 60 hours of course work
Passed the Illinois Basic Skills Test (becoming the Test of Academic Proficiency) and the Content Area test for the grade/content area you will be certified to teach >> Testing requirements

Requirements for Admission:
Bachelor's degree with GPA of 2.5/4.0 or better in latest 60 hours of course work
Certified to teach in Illinois (Type 03, Type 09, or Type 10 only); OR anticipating IL certification by June 2012 upon completing Bachelor's degree in Education >> Out-of-state applicants
